DON'T FALL VICTIM TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE OFFERS
How many times have you come to a webpage like this one that promises you the ultimate secret to making money online? You know the type of website...it hangs a carrot in front of you, hoping you'll bite and spend lots of money on some crappy e-book.
They make a really convincing argument that pratically begs you to signup and promises several extra bonuses if you do (i.e. more ebooks, free software, etc).
And then to insult your intelligence, they give their method/product some really long name that uses buzzwords to make it sound really good (i.e. "Reverse Funnel System", "Instant Profit Machine", and "Revenue Autopilot" are a few notable examples).
The truth of the matter is that these methods/products don't work. Think about it for a minute - if somebody really had some innovative way to generate thousands of dollars every day would they really be selling it to you for $99US? Wouldn't it make more sense to use their method and make a fortune before somebody else stumbled upon it?
DON'T LET THESE FRAUDSTERS INSULT YOUR INTELLIGENCE AND TAKE YOUR MONEY
First off, let's look at some of the myths that these offers try to push onto you:
"You can make thousands of dollars every day!" - this is what you want to hear and they know it. They know you are trying to find a way to make a successful online business and they will say whatever they can to get you to make a purchase. If this were possible for everybody then we would all be rich, sadly the fact of the matter is that your chances of making a massive fortune online is about just as likely as winning the national lottery.
"Our system is 100% automated and works while you sleep!" - you should know that this is true of just about any software, website, or online business. You don't need to be sitting at your keyboard 24/7 for your website to be working, they are just making a play on words to get your money. This type of blanket statement is the same as saying "Our product will guarantee your lungs will breathe air 100% of the time!" - it's just spinning words around to make it sound like some wonder product.
"Our product is guaranteed to make you money!" - it's actually not. If you read the fine print (usually in the form of a tiny little 'Earnings Disclaimer' burried at the very bottom of the page), it says no guarantees in most cases. The only way you'll ever get your money back once you realize you were ripped off is to file a chargeback (assuming you paid with your credit card), and even then chances are slim you will win. In fact, when you go through the purchase process you even click on a little 'I Accept the Terms and Conditions' button, which declares that no refunds/guarantee exists (it's burried in pages of legal fineprint). There is no guarantee, they are misleading you.
